Livingston Elementary has proudly kicked off the 2026–2027 school year with a bang! 🌟
We have truly enjoyed welcoming our Cardinals back to school and seeing our hallways filled with excitement, smiles, and school spirit. Our students and staff have already made wonderful memories and set the tone for what promises to be an amazing year!
Our Cardinals have already participated in some exciting activities, including:
🎉 PBIS Pep Rally – We kicked off the year with an amazing PBIS Pep Rally! Students learned about our schoolwide expectations, celebrated positive behaviors, and had a great time showing their Cardinal pride. The energy and enthusiasm were incredible!
📚 i-Ready – Students have also begun their i-Ready assessments, helping us learn more about their individual strengths and areas for growth. We are excited to use this information to support student learning and help our Cardinals feel confident and successful throughout the year.
❤️ Welcoming Our Cardinals – From the first day of school, our teachers and staff have worked to create welcoming and engaging classrooms where students feel supported, valued, and ready to learn.
🌟 Looking Ahead – This is only the beginning! We are excited about the many learning experiences, celebrations, events, and opportunities that await our students and families this school year.

Let’s Celebrate the Power of Reading!
On September 8th, Livingston Elementary is celebrating National Literacy Day with Pajamas & Pages: Camp Read-A-Lot!
Students are invited to grab their favorite book, get cozy, and “camp out” with a good book! Throughout the day, we encourage our Cardinals to celebrate reading by exploring a variety of genres, including adventure, mystery, fantasy, poetry, biography, historical fiction, informational text, realistic fiction, and nonfiction.
Whether you're cozying up with a book, reading in the classroom, or turning reading into an everyday adventure, every page is an opportunity to learn, imagine, and grow!
Remember: ❤️ Love reading! 😊 Laugh with a great story! 🧠 Learn something new!
