🌟 We have started the second half of the school year on a high note at Livingston Elementary! 🌟
The past few months have been filled with powerful learning experiences, meaningful celebrations, and memorable moments shared with our students, families, and staff. Each event has supported academic growth, creativity, and strong school-community connections.
Our students proudly participated in a variety of engaging and enriching activities:
🏛️ Living Wax Museum Exhibit – Our students brought history to life as they researched, wrote about, and embodied influential figures. They demonstrated confidence, public speaking skills, and a deep understanding of the individuals they portrayed. We are so proud of their hard work and dedication!
✊🏾 Black History Month Program – Through performances, presentations, and classroom learning experiences, students honored the achievements, resilience, and contributions of African Americans throughout history. It was a meaningful celebration of culture, history, and unity.
📚➕ Title I Spring Into Math Night – Families joined us for an evening of interactive math games, hands-on learning, and helpful strategies to support math success at home. It was wonderful to see our school community come together to make math both fun and engaging!
🔢 Annual Multiplication Challenge (Grades 3–5) – Our 3rd–5th grade students showcased their math fluency and determination during our Annual Multiplication Challenge! Students worked hard to strengthen their fact fluency, build confidence, and challenge themselves to reach new goals. We are incredibly proud of their perseverance and growth in mastering multiplication facts.
🍕 Stevi B’s School Fundraiser – Our school community showed incredible support during our fundraiser at Stevi B's Pizza Buffet. Families enjoyed a fun night out while giving back to Livingston Elementary. We truly appreciate everyone who participated and helped support our students and school initiatives!
💌 Valentine Grams – Students shared kindness and friendship by sending special Valentine Grams to classmates and staff. This sweet tradition spread smiles and reminded us of the importance of positive connections.
💛 National School Counseling Week – We celebrated and recognized the incredible work of our school counselor, who supports students academically, socially, and emotionally each day. We are grateful for the guidance and encouragement provided to our students.
🤝 National School Social Worker Week – We also honored our school social worker for the vital role they play in supporting students and families, ensuring needs are met, and helping every child thrive.
These experiences truly reflect the heart of Livingston Elementary—a school where learning is meaningful, relationships matter, and every child is supported and celebrated.
🌷 We can’t wait to see what March brings and all the exciting opportunities ahead for our students and families!
